Norma Crisologo Liongoren was into social research and advocacy of Philippine community development while spending her off-work hours in an environment of art and in the company of young artists from the University of the Philippines. In 1981 she founded the art gallery bearing the name of her husband, abstractionist Alfredo Liongoren. With a larger over-all vision of contributing to the development of Filipino culture and upholding its living traditions, the gallery provides exhibition space, seeks social market and private collection support for Philippine modern and contemporary art.
